Auto Diaphragm v3 (AD v3) has been our biggest content update since the development of the software. It offers significant improvements over an already useful software, with the goal of providing the best available tool for analysis of floor diaphragms using the strut and tie procedure.
Auto Diaphragm Version 3 was started by v3.0. Since then, we have introduced further improvements in algorithms of cross section definitions around openings via releasing the versions 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3. Our latest version is currently v3.3 which has been released in December 2023.

Note that internal improvements have been made in later versions for more accurate definition of cross sections. Auto Diaphragm was initially developed in 2019 in response to requirements of analysis of floor diaphragms in amendments 3 of New Zealand concrete structures (NZS3101) using the strut and tie procedure.
Since its appearance Auto Diaphragm has gone through several rounds of reviews and updates and currently is being used by some of the largest consulting firms in the world as the preferred diaphragm analysis tool for the lateral design of floor diaphragms. Within dozens of international consulting firms our users are in the order of hundreds of engineers and are expanding rapidly.
